About Us

About Us

Dakota Valley School District was organized in July 1994.  The Dakota Valley school buildings are the most modern and well equipped schools in the state.  The middle school was remodeled and expanded in 1994.  All three Dakota Valley buildings are currently being remodeled and expanded due to district enrollment/growth.

The middle school location is just off I-29 at Exit 4 at 1150 Northshore Dr.  We are connected to the Dakota Valley High School far left entrance (brown brick).

The district Mascot is the Panther and our school colors are Purple, Black, Silver.

The middle school is NCA Accredited and has a low student/teacher ratio.

Our staff is involved with our administration, students, and parents with a high participation percentage in parental contacts.  The staff also participates in workshops and in-service programs to meet the needs of the various students that we serve.
